Will the left using Ted Kennedy's corpse to sell government healthcare be a winning strategy?

I think it will backfire, what about you? KKK Bobby Byrd wants to call it the Kennedy Plan. I hope he gets his wish, Americans have woken from their accepting slumber and would see right through it.

I don't think Teddy was dead for more than three hours before Pelosi was suggesting this as well.

craigya 		You mean like the 2008 Republican candidates for President used Ronald Reagan's corpse to justify their war of lies in Iraq?

When Reagan himself cut and ran in Lebanon? And... it turned out to be the right thing to do!

And what the hell is "the left," anyway? Most liberals aren't all that far left. If they were, we'd have had health-care reform with FDR, or at least Truman.

And then Jack Kennedy could have been a journalist like he'd really wanted. Ted could have signed with the Green Bay Packers out of Harvard. And Bobby... well, he probably would've been Attorney General at some point anyway, it might've taken until well after 1968 but at least he would have been alive!

craigya 		It would be such a mistake. I watched the tapes this week and you could see he was pushed t the side after the election and not even asked about the plan. I believe in the near future it will come out that he remained silent because he knew he had been taken in by dean and company.

Although he had to know as he worked closely with Pres. bush n the medicare Prescription drug pan, which has had overruns up to 5 times the original amount. Even in 2003 after signing it they immediately revised the cost by 100%!

Leave the man with some dignity and leave this alone. He was not asked about it and when he found out a former Weatherman did the stimulus package he must have said the heck with it.
